Backtracking to Previous Dayzz (Part 3)

Nothing much for these few days for gonna write in 2-3 days one shot ;)

Day 4:

Tried a special dessert from So Chow called 双皮奶 （siong pei nai [canto])..Love it!! Yum Yum Yum Yum. Will wanna eat it again. They can make it cold or hot but I prefer the hot one. Stronger taste and tastier..



Day 5:

Went for rehearsal at the venue but in the end, cancelled cause electricity was not ready.. They used a trailer for stage but of cause will extend it..

Day 6:

Rehearsal day with intruments. Many booths were still not ready and as seen in picture, the stage is still being prepared. Setting up for visual. This day was really tiring. Costume trying in the morning, had breakfast and lunch only at 5pm. Really pissed off and frusfrated but thankfully still Managed to learn anger management.Thank you to those of you who have been there for me although far away..

Went and shop around for some costume stuffs and ended up buying a cap ;) First time buy cap. When buy, buy one which look so artistic =P

Backtracking to Previous Dayzz (Part 3)

Today, I tried many things..Tried out all of Guangzhou's public transport..No no, not all la, Maybe the ones on the road only like their public bus, their Light rail, taxi and their electric tram/bus..Don't know le what's it called..




Tried the KFC here... Tried their grilled chicken burger..Taste? Ermmm, let's just say it doesn't convince me but in order not to waste food, will still swallow it in..




I've been involved and doing animation all along and I've finally get to meet up with some of the people who were involve with the dubbing!! One of them in real life, sounds just like what I hear from the CD whenever I do my work!! Wow Wee!! Ate lotsa good food too~~

Went back to the studio to do some work, curi tulang and capture some pictures with the animation banners while waiting for the artistes to complete their rehearsal and costume fitting then, good food was awaiting for us again..haha




Went for dinner in a restaurant with Centraline people.Tried really YUMMY char siew which will just melt in the mouth~~~ Speaking of it also missing it~~~

I do not usually eat intestines. Forgot what intestines la but I tried this time. Being adventurous. This meal was really experimental cause I seldom eat sashimis and intestines~~


Tried something like prawn sashimi which is not really dead but fainted in a bucket of ice and fish sashimi. The bucket of prawn was placed in front of Anna and suddenly, a prawn started to move and jumped out from the bucket. Shocked me and Anna and sent both of us + Ah Ping screaming. Pretty embarassing cause other people were looking at our table. There were so many prawns left and in the end, we had to play a game by turning the round glass and see where the teapot stops. If it points at a particular person, we have to take one prawn and eat!! Quite sporting and fun people cause if add up everybody, got more than 100-200 years old le ;)

Come to think of it, maybe it is because we're working in the city, therefore there are more interesting food to explore and try..(Appou, writing this part is not to 'gek' you ya~~~haha)

Backtracking to Previous Dayzz (Part 2)

Day 2:

The environment/air here is pretty bad. Hazy and humid. I had trouble breathing on this very day. Probably because not used to the weather yet..That's why we were advised to drink more Leong Cha and water.

Got ready for 1st action but first, we needed to feed our tummy so went to a small little noodle shop. Had Wanton Mee. Big prawn wantons but their noodle is slightly different. No black sauce but yet yummy. Then took the public transport out to Guangzhou city. We took the bus and light rail.



Oh, before I forget to mention, the drivers here especially taxi drivers are really PRO F1 drivers!! They do qualify!!! They'll just fly and overtake the cars as if other cars do not exist!! If the traffic turns yellow, they'll drive even faster. The people here also, just walk and cross the road whenever they like regardless if the pedestrian traffic light is green or red!! But one thing good is that most of them still use the zebra crossing. Most of time, the cars and people are just like about to have accidents but so far, thankfully and AMAZINGLY, there are none. The drivers manage to brake in time!! They should really try out for F1 qualification. ONE WORD: NO LAW!!

As I walked along the bridge towards the light rail, I saw quite a few people who sits by the side selling things like small toys, handphone pouches, dogs, accessories and shoe cleaner. Just a small stool and one small cloth in front of them to place their things.

They have big, wide road and also big, CLEAR signboards. Public transport, Very convinient. However, it just happens that there is a festival here; an import-export exhibition/cultural fest. Not really sure which one though and TAXIS are really difficult to hail!! Many a times it took us 30 Minutes JUST to catch a CAB!! Madness!!



Visited one of their famous road called Beijing Road cause we needed to get some shoes for the show. There was a short street with glasses on it showing the street/road which existed during the Ming, Song and Yuan dynasties. Got to know that the streets then were on a much lower ground.


Tried their McDonald's YAM PIE. Quite yummy!! Many interesting tall buildings and billboards that we seldom see back home.





Passed by the Guang Zhou's TV station (GDTV) whereby there was an advertisement announcing about the animation exhibition which we are attending.

Then we shot straight to the studio (GDTV-Cosmos) to have our 1st try out practise...

By the time, I'm back to the hotel, really tired..

Backtracking to Previous dayzz (Part 1)

Day 1 (Wed):

Prepared to leave off to Hong Kong. Not much of excitement yet though. Not sure why. Spent our time eating at McD, KLIA after checking in. Lepaked, snapped pictures and busy messaging when we were waiting in the waiting room. After boarding the plane,pretty sleepy though but can't seems to sleep. Being attracted by the small TV in front of me kua when in the plane. The service provided were really good although there were no pretty or cute or good looking air stewardess/steward..haha..

Touched down in Hong Kong International Airport around 530pm. Only then did I feel my heart pumping faster... Lotsa people.. Felt really comfortable when I hear most of them speak Cantonese..Weird feeling though. By the time we check out and collect our luggages, it was already about 615pm. Rushed to the bus booths and bought bus tickets up to Guangzhou, China. We had to stop by twice to go through the custom. 1 is to leave Hong Kong and the other custom stop is Shen Zhen..The environment is really busy and bustling!! No time to stop and take pictures also. One word, RUSH!!

Really tiring and by the time we reached Guangzhou, it was about 11 sth..Then had to take taxi to another part of the city. Slightly more to the outskirt, Nanhai City.. RMB 80 one trip inclusive of tol RMB10..They'll charge RMB 1 for petrol as well so whenever you take a cab, be prepared to add RMB 1..I find one thing interesting, which is the receipt. Two types, dunno how to explain..so check out the pictures le ;)

The place we checked into is pretty far. About 45 minutes from the city. Interesting part is, it provides many junkies and toilet, CONDOM is provided..So, sendiri fikir la ya ;)

Back to MY ROOTS, GUANGZHOU

My roots where my ancestors are from, Guangzhou. I'm here now in Guangzhou city. Don't know if I'm able to visit my 'village', Dongguan but it's ok I guess. Maybe next time. As time do not allow me to continue at the moment, I'll write again from the beginning when I leave KL.. Till then, missin my family, Milo and friendzzzzzz

Genting

The week past by in a glimpse of an eye...Busy shopping with the songwriters while waiting for them to have their hair cut. Tiring indeed but still bearable. Then friday, it was time to go up to Genting for the singers' rehearsal and performance. One thing that was really worrying was that one of them had a very bad sore throat and was getting worse. However, during the show, all went well. When Jasemaine went up there to perform, I had tears welling up..Dunno why..After the show, we had a hugging session..Really happy and relieved!! Things went well, happily and smoothly!!

The first day, we had big buffet dinner.. Food was really yummy!! Last day oso we had yummy lunch buffet!! Hehe..Did not have a good rest on the first day as the room was really hot and stuffy although we were staying in Genting Hotel. 2nd day was spent chatting till wee in the morning..Siao.. then had to wrap wanton..Aih...but both days we hadst coffee bean session..Drinking ice blended, cold Wind!!

Reached back and had to have dinner with cousin sister liao..Super tired but had fun cause Seafood!! hehe...

Only have 1 more days to go........

Chill.....

Pretty jam pack with work past week. TookMobi songwriter do passport, helped her with her report, animation mixing, took a break by chilling out at Laundry Bar supporting Mobi and ex college frenz performing, watching movie at my place till wee hours, chilling out and catching up on news with my other bunch of friends. Feels good to meet up with them again, laughing at stupid and dumb jokes. Boy, don't I just miss them!!

This week is gonna be busier by visiting Sungeiwang 3 times!!! 3 Mobi Singer-Songwriter will be performing at the 'Ai FM Anniversary' in Genting this coming Saturday, so they'll need prepare; buying clothes, hair-styling so on and so forth.

There's mental stress & super hormone imbalance!!! Sigh..However.............

Next week is gonna be an interesting week for me... What's it about? Yo yo, Check it out, check it out ;)

Yesterday

I intended and have actually planned to write this entry come May but sometimes, things can be unpredictable so,

I took the courage and took a step into something that I have always been afraid of for the past 4-5 years. Was hoping that it will turn out beautiful and memorable..Those moments were really weird. Questions were always floating in the air but never brought out cause, NO guts kua..Haha..

I would say I managed to keep up a good job by being happy... Throughout the year, most of the time when I pass by the road driving to work, that particular song and event will flash through at the back of my head..

I've been writing lyrics but only when I am really down but it was never brought out cause, NO guts to show anyone..Haha..

Yeah,again; a coward, I am..

YESTERDAY................................

Lost~~

What is the feeling of being lost? How would you feel? Why lost? Has it been long term or recently? Some friends have always said to me: "Wah, you see you. You know what you wanna do but me, aih, still lost.."

However, especially recently, at times I feel that I am as lost as them..I'm starting to doubt myself and my decision..Maybe, just maybe because it is a new area of expertise or maybe it is just psychological...Many new things to learn and these learning processes is sometimes jelled with stress but I believe that this something is what I've always wanted to learn and do. Giving up is NOT and will NEVER be the solution cause I believe I'm still very determined to do it.

Never really been in this area of expertise.
Srewed up twice.
Being encouraged.
Being asked to relax.
Being told off nicely.
Being asked if my job is fun and would you still want to continue doing it? The answer is no doubt 'Yes'.

My Sunday (1/4/07)

A busy Sunday...

Left back to mum's hometown at 115am and reached at 315am. Went back to "行清".. Been a while since I've visited my granddad and I bought 3 roses before I went back..Had only like an hour's sleep..Aiyo, sooooo early.. Sky still pitch dark when we reached the cemetary site..had to take torchlight!!

Many people were to be seen and the environment was like Chinese New Year. Saw many interesting things which are being burned like new houses, cars, paper money (Hades cash) which looked like Singapore, America, Renminbi currencies..Haha...Long, red fire crackers were lighted and burned!! Reason? I don't know (Shrug) haha..All's done by 845am and on the way back, saw lots of car and there were RELA helpers..Imagine, go visit graveyard oso have to go through JAM!!! but luckily, we did not have to go through it...



Balik, mandi and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....Halyway sleeping, "The Lyricist" sent an SMS telling us that he MacBook was STOLEN!! and it was only a few days old!! Eyes half opened but surprised, I replied asking him to report but mana tau, he sent back telling me that the police said not to report to them because it is April's Fool day. Go report to your friends instead!!

"Langsat!!!!!!!!!!" (A word I pinjam from my boss)...

Lepak at cuzzie's hse till 330pm and thought I could go home but he kidnapped me to teman him wash his car first..Aih, lucky got his girlfriend and terriers to teman..We were supposed to fetch my grandma as well and he told her that he'll fetch her at 3pm. However, we were at the car wash til 5pm and I was sweating like mad. As though as I was in the sauna!! Meanwhile, my grandma was frantically calling us, my cousins and mum..Afraid that we'll leave her behind..Old lady, what do you expect..Haha

On the way back, got stuck in the jam for 1 hour and I was feeling really restless cause before that, I got a call from my mum telling me that Milo got into a dogfight and was injured.. The other dog was a much larger dog but his mouth was covered in blood. As for Milo, mum said he injured his leg and was looking afraid..Worried, I called up Jean and ask for he help. Thankfully, I have her to treat Milo..

Reached home, had a good look at Milo and took him to the clinic today. His ears was bitten by the other dog. Sigh...One thing about Milo is, he is such a small dog but always growling and fierce towards dogs which are bigger in size than him..Dumb and naughty dog..

"Fishy"

It's been a long time since I've really used metaphors when I deal in everyday's conversation but I still do hear it often . This time mostly in Chinese rather than English and at times, I gotta ask my friends for the meaning of it due to my limited knowledge of Chinese vocabularies..

It is always fun and interesting to have meals or drinks whereby it involves only 2 person at times as many things can be shared and like my friend said, you might be able to "Catch a FISH" at the end of the day/meal. How big the fish depends on your how you view it.

Had a meal with a friend who happened to be the "fish" and it was a really funny night but yet I find it interesting because it has always; ok maybe not always but most of the time difficult to get info from "Fishy". It was pretty difficult to catch Fishy actually. I had to tug and pull and release it a few times before it finally gave in..Haha..

One thing for sure is I am really happy to know that Fishy is actually willing to share with me...I know it was hard for you to say it out. Thank you for trusting in me =)

Be prepared

(Heart beating really fast while writing this) We're going to meet up, finally.......Don't know if it will happen or not 'cause it's still early...Gotta be really prepared, be it to listen or talk about it................................................

SPARTAN??!!

Come across certain people in your life whereby they can be a real hypocrite, doesn't do what they preach, back-stabbers or trying to brain wash others? Can they not realize what they are doing? Can they not realize that words will always travel although not at the speed of light or sound?

Watched the movie 300? Although cruel but it is a movie to teach one about life values. Movies do teach have its purpose and moral. Do not just watch for the fun of watching.

RESPECTS are to be EARNED and NOT bought!! Learn to be a SPARTAN..

(Just to trail off a bit here.. This is a good movie with good figting choreography altho cruel, gruesome and unrealistic. Maybe it is becuz they are trying to make it look like game effects as well. I bought a packet of biscuits to munch during the movie but had no opportunity as there were so many gruesome parts whereby my two hands were covering my eyes. Then I just opened it and starting eating but was also thinking :"Oh no, they are fighting again!! My hands are very busy at the moment!! One is busy holding the biscuit and the other putting in biscuits into my mouth. MANA ADA hand to cover my eyes when got gruesome part??!!!" but thankfully, the final battle scenes were ok..hehe)

Let Go

It's funny how time can pass by us so fast and by the time you know, it already a month and 10 days. Always wanted to talk but never had the chance. Maybe it is destined. Sigh, I guess it's ok le.. I do not know if I still wanna hear about it or not. I just feel that there's no meaning to it anymore and I feel far again. Let bygones be bygones, I guess..

I feel that there's nothing to say whenever we are all out. Why? I don't know. They talk, I listen. You talk, I listen. You ask, I answer. They seems to know what's happening around more than I do..Maybe I have to start learning to let things go..Learn to stop carrying too much hope. Thought that I have succeeded in doing that but I guess the answer's pretty clear stating: No.......!!!!!

Is it really worth it to be so unhappy over things that you might consider petty? We all go through ups and downs in our life but I just wanna share.. I know what's you're thinking and what you'll tell me. Maybe I do not want to hear about it anymore after all but I also wonder is an effort really that difficult sometimes?

You: Sigh, What is it that you really want then?

Me: Sigh, I also don't know la..Suddenly not sure WHAT I'm writing..It is fate that brought us together; I just do not wanna lose you like I had lose him before...

New Sweater ;)

Been balancing my time doing animation, studying and learning how to write reviews and Chinese. I'm currently attending Chinese classes given by Anna 老师 ;) I find it pretty interesting and will get hooked up to continue practising my work at times..Hehe..Hard work though (teacher said she will give test le..Stress!!)



Jian Yi is back from his trip and he really surprised me by giving me a sweater which was bought for Milo!! Was really touched..Thank you once again, dearest..When I went back, Milo seems to know that the sweater is for him and so I wore it for him..It looks slightly small on him but the sleeves seems to be at the right length. To me, he do look adorable and EVEN my mum who usually do NOT call out for him, called him over to her by tempting him with food to see him in his new sweater..Haha..

Sleep Needed

Aahhhhhhhhhh...It's the weekend........Eyes are like a panda now. Black, small and felt swollen!!! Although I thought of spending my time on the bed til late noon, I had to get up to teach early instead and then had a day out with my cousin brother to Mid Valley to catch a movie, lunch and makan makan..Was supposed to meet him during the weekday but got caught up with work..He's been complaining about me always '747' him but well, that day I felt being '747' instead..haha...

The day went by smoothly and happily whereby we got to know each better after not meeting up for some time..We had a good talk during lunch; slightly about life; mainly about relationships which I have never imagined myself telling him about while getting to know his juicy bits and advices from him ;) hehe..

The best part was I did not have to drive... Lunch and movie was being treated as well!!! Hahahehe...Felt really 'hang fook' le....Haha..

Gonna spend my Sunday sleeeeeeeeeeping in til late.. Got to know that school's on holiday and grandma's coming tomorrow..Have to keep my room neat and tidy.. Milo's gonna have a tough time again..Sure cannot come in house so often liao and if unlucky, use cane to scare him....Sigh.....

Sleeping during Karaoke???!!!

Ever heard of sleeping during karaoke session?? What?? u must be asking...haha, yeah tat bum happens to be me...Was reli tired and sleepy and when my bunch of frenz suggested going for a karaoke session, I just said ok but in the end, I ended up sleeping..Muahaha =P

Ian was asking for more details to be published as he said the previous entry was not juicy enough. Well, nothing much more to write actually..Hmm, lemme think..Hmm, ya lo nothing much oredi la..What I do know is just by following Ian to his church, he had a lot of explanation to do..hehe..(Must be seldom bring girls back to his church/hometown..haha) I think his dad wanted him to have dinner together but since I had one myself and did not know my way out, he being the kind gentleman went back down to KL with me and along the way, invited him over to dinner with my extended family instead..haha..In fact, I invited him when we left his house and finally I managed to persuade him..haha..I on the other hand did not have to give much explanations but one cousin brother of mine who was really curious kept asking me questions about him..haha..

Saw a movie: "Music & Lyrics" which is a romantic comedy. Pretty funny. Hugh Grant still manage to amuse me with his witty humor and tight pants with rocking hips ;)

This week has been a busy and tiring but peaceful week so far. A lot of work could be done without distraction and the feeling is just great!! Hopefully it'll be this way throughout til Friday then Weekend!!

Busy Weekend~~

The past weekend was one of the busiest and most tiring Saturday and Sunday I've ever had. Friday night celebrated friend's birthday. Hope he really enjoyed his night, love his presents and surprises. Then, computer is out of service and after sleeping for only 2-3 hours, had to get up and go fix the computer. Rushed to Low Yat and got back to office in the noon. Went back home in the late noon and 'kong' out for the night til 9pm.

Ate dinner, lepak at home watching TV while hands busy SMS-ing. Tot of going to bed early as I had to get my bum up at 5 something AM to fetch our company's "Most Outstanding and Hardworking Producer" to the airport to catch his flight to Guangzhou but was invited to yum cha..Being the 'ye sam' me, how could I reject it although was about to fall asleep while waiting for them and thought of cancelling it..Went out til 2am. Had a 3 and 1/2 hour 'nap'. My morning call came in earlier than I expected..Yawnnnnnnnnn............

Went to the airport with Ian and Xin Jie. After saying our goodbyes, we rushed to Ian's church in Sepang and I attended both services while he attended his meeting. Had lunch, joined his choir practise (nah, I did not sing. Just kay poh there), had a short rest at his house and rushed back home for dinner with my extended family...By the time I went back home, it was around 11 sth close to 12. Caps out and what happened next, was unknown to me till the next morning when I had to get up to work =p

恭喜发财

Happy Chinese New Year!! Another year of red packets and questions asked about when are you bringing ur someone special back?? Sigh... Every year it is getting more and more quiet with the lack of fire crackers and fieworks. There still are some though but not as fun as yesteryears ;)




Took Milo back home to my grandma's place and this time, he followed me instead of my dad. Funny dog..wanna know why? look at the pic [He's actuli sleeping ;)] haha...


"My Niece and Nephews"

This year I'm more of a good girl whereby I spent most of my time in my grandma's house instead of going out with my cousins. Maybe because I've been working and staying up til late so took this time to really rest. The feeling was really great. Now I know why people always say after working, it's good to stay at home. Spent some quality time with family, cousins, nephews and nieces though. Had dinner and movie with them. Great feeling and fun =D

I'm Back!!

I'm back to blog!! Been a reli long time since the last..Reasons? first, don't feel like it and second, no time!!! been pretty busy in a summary, life have been up and down for me. There are some sweet, bitter, fun and funny things that has happened.

Kota Kinabalu's trip have been fun although Raining season. Visited Tip of Borneo, foot of Mt. Kinabalu, a Rural village and people, cultural village and handicraft market. Though at the Tip of Borneo, can't see Philippines. What a bum!! (After going thru bumpy road in a KELISA!!). Did not climb the mountain. Visited the War Memorial Park which have gardens instead of statues.

Accompanied my friend to some CNY TV shooting whereby juz by sitting and standing around, you'll get to see and learn new, funny, frusfrating and weird stuffs. Plenty of funny and
"Kan cheong" stories heard...Saw some funny acts during Talent shows..

Celebrated 姐's birthday in Genting. It has been a long time since all of us in a gang have been on a trip and it was great that all could make it and produce 2 days of fun. Went to coffebean as usual, sat outside and had ice blended..haha..It was reli reli cold up there too and it's been a long time since we've enjoyed that coolness =P

I felt altho via email. good to know some stuffs from her too.. Was supposed to help out in a charity show but felt reli bad though that I did not help out much. Missed it too cuz had work to do.

Bz preparing for a roadshow and got to know new working frens. Roadshow was fun with few of us getting together again and being crazy although the first day I was not feeling well and sick =( vomitted and "Oh" twice...leg was pretty weak *sniff sniff*

V-day was celebrated with a simple dinner. Although simple, it's the people that counts. You are really a gift from above =)



CNY is coming!! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!
